Hi friends and happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! What did you do this weekend? It doesn't matter what it is, the little things you do, make such a big difference.
In a few days, it's the month of September. Can you believe how time really flies so fast like the beautiful butterfly on my project from the My Path Digital Stamp Set. This stamp set consists of 2 beautiful images and 3 coordinating sentiments. You can definitely use the images along with the sentiments or just the image itself. That's why I love working with a digital stamp as you can create any type of project with it.
Let's get started...
The base of this A2-sized card is made from 65 lb. White smooth cardstock. Then, I cut another piece of patterned paper the same size as my card base. Using some strong glue, I adhered it to the front of the card base. Next, I took the same size of the doily and adhered just the 3/4 of it in the front, and cut the excess.
Next, I printed the beautiful butterfly image onto white smooth cardstock and colored it with alcohol markers Arteza Ever Blend Ultra Art Markers. Using BR41 (Goldstone Red), BR34 (Light Clay Brown), and BR47 (Pastel Orange). I blended them from darkest to light to achieve the color. Love how the color turned out and so happy.
After that, I color the half part which is the flower. I used Y22 (Sunflower Yellow), Y15 (Sapphire Yellow), and Y03 (Narcissus Yellow). I used the same technique - darkest to lightest to achieve the desired color I'm after. Then I colored the leaves with some Greens G17 (Mantis Green), G15 (Aura Green), and G09 (Pomelo Green).
I fussy cut the image and then added some double-sided foam tape at the back and adhered it to the front of the card. To add some bling by using the Artea Glitter Gel Pen. To finish it off, I added a few green rhinestones for some dimensions.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you were inspired by my project to create your own. For more inspiration, be sure to follow me on my Website, Instagram, Facebook Page, Twitter, Pinterest, and Youtube Channel.
Stay Creative,
