Hi, my friends! It's the 1st Saturday of the month and that means Stampers Delights releases new stamps. Today, I want to introduce you to Chibi Too Cute Too Spook. She's such an adorable girl holding the cutest pumpkin.
Let's get to it then...
First, I printed my image on white 110lb Recollections Cardstock. Then, I started coloring it using my new Arteza Tropical Tones. I have always start with the hair using from darkest to light. Sometimes, I start from lightest to dark as well.
After that, I moved straight to the pumpkin. I used several colors that will make sure the colors I like for the pumpkin pop up. Then, I started with her pants, ribbon, and shoes. I decided to match the colors of both ribbon and pants, then gray for shoes. The color I've chosen really worked well. Then, moved to the block of wood, some rocks, and mushrooms.
Once done, I fussy cut her. For my background, I used a patterned paper that works well will my image. The background color really gives a very nice compliment to the image color.
Then, I added the background using strong glue on an A2 white 110lb cardstock. Next, I placed the colored image in the middle of the card and added the sentiment on the right top side with some double-sided tape.
For some interest, I added some leaves falling on her side and some more in the front. And the card is done.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope I have inspired you and will try to do some crafting any day this week and the weeks after.
XOXO
Marj
