Hi friends! Welcome back and I'm glad you're here! Did you see the March Member's Exclusive 2021 called Rainy Days of Oddball? Aren't they cute? As we all know Spring started last Saturday and we all know during spring time there's rain, plenty of rain.

This card is so simple to make. I first printed out my images and then started to color them using my Arteza Colored Pencils. I didn't do any fancy coloring I just made sure to highlight and give shadow to each images. I used brown for 2 plant pots and the other one is light pink just to give a little bit of variation. Then, colored the plants mostly green. I just love seeing green as it is my favorite color. After that, I fussy cut them one at a time and added a little white border.

For the background, I used Rubber Ducky Hybrid Ink from Scrapbook.com and my handmade stencil. I decided to use this stencil to set a scene of sunshine although as I mentioned earlier we get lots of rain during spring time. But I think It is very appropriate as well and it really give life to the images. I used my heat tool to dry the ink faster after making my background so I can add my sentiment.

ree

For the sentiment, I used Simon Says Stamp Hello Darling. I stamped it directly on the right sight of my card panel using Scrapbook.com Black Hybrid Ink . This stamp set has full of beautiful sentiments that you can use on any occasion.

To assemble the card, I used wet glue to the card panel and adhered it to the card base. Then, added some foam tape to the cute digis and arrange them in the middle for them to get some sunshine. For decoration, I added a few sequins and we're done.

I hope even with this card, I gave you a little of sunshine on your way.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again next time.

Yay! At last it's Spring, the most awaited weather, as we are tired of the cold and not just cold but with snow!

Hey friends, I'm glad you are stopping by again. Can you believe it's Spring already and I'm super glad about it but some of us will suffer from some allergies. Oh well I'd rather have allergies than shoveling the snow coz It's not fun!

For today's card, I really love this image of Oddball Art Digital Stamp Big Eye Girl Skylar and Friends of Spring Image No. 204 as it is one full scene already. It comes with some butterflies, snail, rabbit and some flowers and look at her, she's gorgeous! It's a complete scene already but I added some tweeks just to make it better.

ree

I simply colored her hair using my Arteza Ever Blend Markers with some touch of brown that compliments her skin tone and clothes. I each colored the butterflies and other little critters with orange markers and grays and add as well the small flowers with peach and green.

ree

I used the Cloudy Stencil of Lawn Fawn to add some nice background to lift a little sunshine to it and used Scrapbook.com Lantern Light form the Yellow Group. Then, I added the word Spring from Simon Says Stamp Sketch Tulip Stamp set and stamp with Versamark Ink then added Wow Gold Embossing Powder and used my heat tool to see the glowing of that sentiment. Next, on a piece of White cardstock I stamped another sentiment from the same stamp set to complete it. Lastly, as the gorgeous girl is sitting down I added some grass using my Green Arteza Ever Blend Markers and we are all done! I added a little bit of yellow sequins to add dimension.

That's all for today friends! I hope you like what I made today and give you a little inspiration and sunshine.

Next, is to make my background. I used a 4 x 5.25 inches White Cardstock, Distress Oxide Chipped Sapphire, Scrapbook.com Black Hybrid Inkpad, blending brush and finger protectors.

ree

To make the background, I first used Distress Oxide Chipped Sapphire blend it all around the paper using light hand to make sure an even amount of pressure and application of the color. I mostly focused and add more color on each corners and left the center with some light color. Then, I added the Scrapbook.com Black Hybrid Inkpad on all sides to achieve the night sky effect.

ree

Then, using White Watercolor and a little of bit of water and a small brush I splatter it all over my background with the flicking motion in order to achieve the night sky.

Now, we will assemble the card, I cut a piece of 4.25 x 5.5 inches Kraft Cardstock as my card panel. Then added some glue on the back of my card base and attached it to the card panel. To add dimension, I added some foam dots on the back of my digital image then attached it to card front. For the sentiment, I used My Favorite Things Superhero Stamp Set, I stamped the You Saved The Day on a piece of White Cardstock using Scrapbook.com Black Hybrid Ink pad and added to a Black Cardstock for a little lift.
